Tucked away in a peaceful meadow with sweeping rural views that drift towards the sea, Apple Tree Shepherd’s Hut is a charming hideaway made for slow days and starry nights. Sitting halfway between Clovelly and Bude, on the North Cornwall and Devon border, it rests within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a landscape of winding lanes, open fields, and big coastal skies.

Inside, the hut is simple, stylish, and full of comfort. A double bed looks out over green pastures; a small kitchen with a gas cooker and grill makes easy work of relaxed suppers; and the en-suite shower room includes an eco-friendly compost toilet. Outside, your private space comes with garden furniture, a barbecue, and the soundtrack of the countryside all around.

An electric hot tub sits beside the hut, an optional extra that turns an evening into something special. After a walk along the South West Coast Path or a surf at one of the nearby beaches, it is the perfect spot to watch the sunset fade into a sky full of stars. One friendly dog is very welcome to join the adventure.
